During two centuries the Vicens’ Family has been loyal to the production of the artisanal nougat, and specifically to Agramunt’s nougat. Their origin is documented since 1741, where this Spanish Christma’s special nougat appears on noble family letters, but is known this tradition came to this village from long time.
Nougat activity besides agriculture has been from the beginning the economic engine on this area. From Torrons Vicens they grant the nougat tradition since 1775. As if time had stopped, the expert hands of their craftsmen continue today as developing so dear sweet. Like if the time stops, the expert hands of our craft makers today their always appreciated sweets like old times manufacturing.
On 2000 the entrepreneurs Angel Velasco and his son Angel Velasco Herrero take the management of the company and from then the growth of the brand has been permanent based on quality, innovation and service.
On 2010 the company decided to open its first shops in Sitges and La Jonquera. From that day, the shops network has constantly grown and today there is more than 30 open stores, some of them abroad. Torrons Vicens exports to the most countries worldwide and has become a symbol of quality for Spanish customers.
